About Us
Ciel Properties (Asset Management) LLP (“Ciel”) is a traditional property company drawing on the long experience of its founder, Steve Jones, to invest in commercial & residential property in the UK.
Our journey began in 2000 when Ciel was formed in order to acquire a portfolio of properties from Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company (where Steve was employed as a property manager) through a joint venture with The Royal Bank of Scotland.
RBS’s exit from commercial property lending led to a buy-out from RBS in September 2014 and Ciel is now a family-owned company through
its own equity and a loan facility from Shawbrook Bank.
Our portfolio is dynamic, with properties bought and sold where it makes sense, but our over-riding objective is to deliver consistent returns to our investors utilising our skill-sets of active, hands-on asset management and the ability to lead professional teams on planning, design, construction, marketing & disposal – as illustrated in our Past & Current Projects on the next pages of this website.
